Symmetricom offers insight, solutions for digital video quality nightmares

Symmetricom recently released its Q-1000 video headend analyzer that, with its network probes and software agents, monitors network nodes to identify video quality issues. The resulting insight into video quality services can reduce costs through efficient diagnosis and decreased customer churn.

To accompany this product release, Symmetricom has posted "Ten Video Quality Nightmares," a video that describes the probable causes of digital video quality problems real viewers experience, available at http://qoe.symmetricom.com/video-nightmares.asp. And solutions to quality problems are detailed in the white paper "Delivering High-Quality Video over IP: Why Your Digital Video Service Must Be Monitored,” available at http://qoe.symmetricom.com/lp/Video_Over_IP/.
