Sundance unveils NewsLink v2.0 news automation software

The latest version of Sundance Digital’s NewsLink delivers no-compromise automation for all three critical categories of live news: high-profile prime slot newscasts, competitive off-prime newscasts, and cut-ins.

V2.0 further extends NewsLink's user-focused approach to digital news production, delivering targeted solutions by adding control of cameras, audio and switchers to its popular rundown-driven control of video servers, CGs and still stores.

Stations may choose the desired amount of automation on a show-by-show basis, while using their existing equipment, and still preserving full production capacity. NewsLink v2.0 provides the newsroom with an array of essential tools for linking all devices using intuitive, fast-to-operate workflow applications. All daily tools are immediately accessible through tabbed screens on the newsroom computer.
