Streambox unveils digital newsgathering video over IP solution

Streambox's ACT-L3 portable encoder

Streambox has introduced its ACT-L3 portable encoder Intel edition for portable newsgathering (PNG).

The ACT-L3 delivers full D1 broadcast-quality interlaced video over public and private IP based networks. The system includes advanced forward error correction (FEC) to recover lost packets and store and forward video file capabilities.

It can be deployed in a few minutes. Live video feeds and video files are received as contribution videos in the broadcast studio on an ACT-L3 decoder equipped with SDI or base-band video output.

Visit Streambox for more information.
