Streambox unveils digital newsgathering video-over-IP solution

Streambox has announced the availability of the Intel edition of its ACT-L3 portable encoder for portable newsgathering (PNG).

The ACT-L3 portable encoder delivers full D1 broadcast-quality interlaced video over public and private IP-based networks. The system includes advanced forward error correction to recover lost packets and store-and-forward video file capabilities.

The encoder can be deployed in few minutes. The studio receives live video feeds and video files as contribution videos on an ACT-L3 decoder equipped with SDI or baseband video output.
