Streambox to highlight new rugged, portable transport at SATCON

Streambox will highlight a new rugged version of its portable video transport system for mobile newsgathering at SATCON 2007 Oct. 10-11 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

The rugged encoder is well suited for use in environments where extreme temperatures are the norm and exposure to adverse weather and rough handling is expected. This version meets or exceeds Mil STD 810F and uses the company’s ACT-L3 codec.

The system is integrated into one compact portable device supplied with a sturdy carry handle for easy transportation and features an extended battery life. The system measures 1.98in x 11.8in x 9.65in and weighs 6.8lbs.
