Sony delivers digital-broadcast sports-facility upgrade to Kuwait TV


Sony's DMX-R100 digital audio mixer is part of Kuwait TV's recently upgraded installation.

Kuwait TV has upgraded its sports and news production facilities with help from Sony and Kuwait City-based integrator Supplying Stores WWL.

The work includes the installation of a turnkey, all-digital, sports-production studio for on-air use that will be used to produce coverage of live events such as basketball and soccer.

Among the items Kuwait TV purchased:

  • Several DVCAM camcorders and studio VTRs;

  • A DVS-9000C production switcher

  • Four BVP-E10 cameras;

  • Five Digital Betacam recorders;

  • An MAV-555 multichannel disk recorder;

  • A DMX-R100 digital audio mixer.
