SMPTE and WEBE to host conference

The Washington, DC chapter of the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE) and The Association of Washington Executive Broadcast Engineers (WEBE) are hosting their annual broadcast and video engineering conference, October 7-9 in Hunt Valley, MD.

This year’s theme is “Multichannel DTV: New Models for Distribution.”

Technical presentations begin Friday, October 8th, with the convention concluding the next day with a tour of Sinclair Broadcasting's centralcasting facilities in Hunt Valley.

The conference is free to attend.
