SecureMedia, Orca Team Up for Secure VOD
SecureMedia and Orca, an iTV provider, have teamed up to integrate their products and jointly market a digital media rights system to VOD service providers. Secure Media, a provider of encryption and digital rights management, demonstrated its Encryptonite System at CES 2003.

SecureMedia says the Encryptonite System can secure any media type and format as well as operate on IP-enabled set-top boxes and consumer devices. Orca's interactive RiGHT XVOD and RiGHTv XBIP applications deliver live and pre-recorded video streaming to multiple devices, including PC and wireless.
