Sears and Circuit City target kids with in-store Jakers! HDTV broadcast

"Jakers! The Adventures Of Piggley Winks" is on display in HD at Sears and Circuit City stores across the country.

Sears and Circuit City are embarking on a new digital signage campaign aimed at children. The two retail stores have contracted Premier Retail Networks (PRN), an in-store television network, to broadcast segments of PBS KIDS’ Emmy Award-winning "Jakers!" The Adventures Of Piggley Winks,” the network’s first children’s series produced in high definition, to display in both Sears and Circuit City stores.

Peter Cullen, general manager of Home Electronics Networks for PRN, said "Jakers!" demonstrates to Sears and Circuit City consumers that there is outstanding HD content available for all members of the family.
