Scripps Networks selects Cam Systems’ Broadway for production

Four of Scripps Networks most popular channels — HGTV, the Food Channel, Fine Living and Do It Yourself—have signed on as clients for Cam Systems’ new Broadway production and software to handle a variety of their behind-the-scenes administrative activities.

Broadway, also in use by the Fox News Channel, delivers broadcasters a rights and clearances application, real-time sales proposal planning system, detailed trafficking functions and multi-platform billing solutions. The integrated software can be customized for both single and multi-station environments.

The new software offers automatic log generation with a sophisticated rules engine, spot manipulation, log editing features, interfacing with master control, and Cam Systems support. Broadway’s traffic and billing solution can work with existing applications or can be integrated with the suite of Cam Systems broadcast solutions for sales planning, as well as programming, rights and clearances.
