Samsung to intro DTV set-top box

Samsung will sell a new a set-top box that will receive over-the-air DTV broadcast transmissions, the Associated Press reported.

The model DTB-H260F is designed for HDTV owners without an integrated ATSC tuner. The box will include an HDMI output.

The report said Samsung may also produce a low-cost box to address users of analog sets after traditional TV service ends in early 2009.
