Richland Towers is currently constructing a facility in Knoxville, Tenn. The site will also include a 1,511-foot broadcasting tower.

A typical Richland broadcast facility is constructed with a heavy 12-foot face K-braced tower and a 60’ candelabra capable of supporting 20 TV and FM broadcast tenants. The transmission facilities are generally more than 10,000 sq. ft. with height clearance of 18-24 feet. A typical roofing system is an IRMA (Inverted Roofing Membrane Assembly) roof over a lightweight concrete with metal roof deck. The site/building is controlled by a security system that also provides smoke, heat, intrusion, tower obstruction lighting, and electrical power fail alarming. Closed circuit television cameras throughout the buildings and at the site access ensure protection of the entire facility.

Richland has other completed broadcast towers in Dallas, Tex. (2), Houston Tex., Orlando, Fla., Atlanta, Ga. and Nashville, Tenn.
