Real Media wins ABC local stations Web representation

Real Media, a company that offers interactive marketing and technology solutions for online marketers and publishers, has added the Web sites for ABC Owned TV’s (OTV) top nine stations to its alliance of more than 450 Web publishers.

The Web sites to be represented are for the following TV stations: WABC in New York, NY; KABC in Los Angeles, Calif.; WLS in Chicago, Ill.; KGO in San Francisco, Calif.; KTRK in Houston, Tex.; WPVI in Philadelphia, Penn.; WTVD in Raleigh-Durham, NC; KFSN in Fresno, CA; and WJRT in Saginaw and Bay City, MI. The combined Web sites have approximately three million unique visitors each month. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Under the terms of the agreement, Real Media’s national sales force will represent ABC’s Web sites, offering customers the opportunity to advertise with the sites on a stand-alone basis, as part of 24/7’s News channel and as part of 24/7’s run of network offering.
