RaceTech to use data-driven graphics at U.K. horseracing tracks

Pixel Power and system integrator iKnowledge will implement a configurable, automated, data-driven racetrack graphics service for outside broadcast (OB) as part a project for horseracing technology provider RaceTech.

RaceTech will use Pixel Power’s Clarity 300 character generators and bespoke software from iKnowledge in six OB trucks for live big-screen coverage at U.K. racetracks.

Clarity will provide on-demand on-screen captions with race card content, tote information, betting prices and results with new content including jockey silks and form content for live coverage on screens at race courses. The iKnowledge bespoke software allows RaceTech to regionalize its broadcasts with location-specific ads and sponsors’ logos and messages.
