QuVIS to launch new post-production, digital cinema, rental and staging servers

QuVIS is raising the stakes - and the resolutions - in the digital disk-based server market with three new lines of video servers that support the playback of 2K and 4K data in addition to today's HD formats.

The new introductions address the increasing needs of the post-production, digital cinema, presentation, and rental and staging communities.

At NAB, the company will introduce the new QuVIS Studio series, QuVIS Presentation series and QuVIS Cinema series of products.

The new generation of servers employs Quality Priority Encoding (QPE) architecture. The systems provide visually lossless and highly efficient imagery plus 12 independent channels of digital audio. Standard and custom formats range from NTSC, PAL and HD through 4K Academy.
