Quincy Newspapers launches online weather

Quincy Newspapers, which owns TV stations in six states in addition to newspapers, has launched the MyWeather WebHD content package for its Web sites.

The WebHD content used is customized to the DMAs of the company's TV and newspaper markets and provides comprehensive weather and traffic information.

According to Mary Winters, director of new media for the company, market response has been overwhelming, with many properties selling out the major content sponsorship before the Web sites launched.
