President Bush supports Powell

President Bush, in a Fox News interview last week, expressed support for the FCC chairman and his new media ownership rules.

When asked if he would veto any legislation rescinding the FCC’s new rules by Congress, the president would only say that he would work with the lawmakers. “There’s always a chance before Congress finally acts...to see if we can come up with an accommodation that meets everybody’s interests," Bush said.
