Pixel Power unveils Clarity 100 character generator

Pixel Power's Clarity 100

Pixel Power has introduced the Clarity 100, a new compact 1RU character generator, which features a Windows user interface with a hybrid of graphics hardware and open-platform PC technology behind it.

The Clarity 100’s fault-sensing bypass relays on the internal downstream keyer are fitted as standard, ensuring continuous broadcast signals in the event of system fault or power failure. Viewers will still see on-air programming in the event of a crisis. The SNMP-based system monitoring allows users to check the status of critical subsystems from a central location. The system is compatible with all the major master control, branding and newsroom automation systems.

The product is available with three different software profiles and can be configured to cover the differing requirements of control rooms, editing and graphics production.
