PESA Ocelot digital routing switcher makes debut in Europe

PESA Switching Systems will introduce its Ocelot HD-MR multi-rate digital routing switcher at IBC2003.

The Ocelot HD-MR offers full auto equalization at each input for more than 250 feet of Belden 8281 coax and provides output re-clocking for 1.5 Gb/s ands all SD rates.

The new line of multi-rate and HD digital routing switchers is designed to handle data rates from 3 Mb/s up to 1.5 Gb/s. A 1 RU self-contained system, the Ocelot HD-MR is available in 8x8, 16x8 and 16x16 configurations for high-definition video. Its small size and versatility make the Ocelot system appropriate for mobile truck and small-studio applications.

The Ocelot HD-MR offers full auto equalization at each input for more than 250 feet of Belden 8281 coax and provides output re-clocking for 1.5 Gb/s ands all SD rates. Ocelot HD-MR's bypass mode is used for non-re-clocking data rate requirements.

An internal RS-232 controller module, configurable through PESA's Virtual Panel Windows GUI interface, controls the Ocelot HD-MR, which comes standard with a local X/Y control panel
