PESA Adds to Sales Force With Three New Appointments
PESA, part of the QuStream group of companies and provider of analog and digital video and audio equipment for broadcast applications, has appointed three sales executives to help strengthen and focus the company's sales efforts.

Kent Cawthorne has been named vice president of distribution sales for the Americas, with responsibility for all PESA dealer and distributor relationships. Cawthorne joins PESA as part of the QuStream acquisition of Fortel DTV. Previously, Cawthorne was vice president of sales and marketing for OSG Group and has held senior management and sales roles at Grass Valley Group, Panasonic Security Systems & Digital Imaging and Sony Electronics. He will be based in the Chicago area.

Kirk White was appointed to the role of vice president of federal government sales. He has more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast industry that includes work in television broadcast production, systems integration, and sales. White joined PESA in 1989 and prior to this promotion, served as the company's southeast regional sales manager. He will be based in Orlando, Fla.

Randy Lloyd is PESA's new vice president of strategic sales. He joined the company in 1989 and has been mainly involved in the company's sales and strategic development. Lloyd's new role will focus on developing accounts and building relationships with broadcast stations and station groups. He will be based in the Dallas area.

"With nearly 70 years of combined experience in the broadcast sector, Kent, Kirk, and Randy bring enormous value and knowledge to the management and growth of multiple key channels critical to our organization as we continue to expand operations," said Bob McAlpine, PESA's senior vice president of sales and marketing. "These new additions to the PESA management team will help us focus on key growth areas while improving our ability to service customers."

Located in Northport, N.Y., and Huntsville, Ala., PESA is a manufacturer of analog and digital video and audio routing switchers and control systems.
