PacketVideo powers 10 new DoCoMo handsets with CORE

PacketVideo’s (PV) CORE Multimedia Player will power advanced media services and applications, including Windows Media technology, on 10 new NTT DoCoMo 906i and 706i series handsets launching this year.

PV provides software to power multimedia services on millions of phones using Verizon V CAST, DoCoMo FOMA and OrangeWorld video and music services, which adds up to a suite of mobile software applications available for 227 million handsets worldwide. DoCoMo's new phones will offer premium multimedia functions such as 30fps video, which PV will power with CORE software.
