ON-AIR Systems launches two new broadcast automation solutions

ON-AIR Systems will introduce ON-AIR Traffic, a new media library and scheduling module with automatic billing, and ON-AIR VDR, a new digital disk video recorder at IBC2003.

ON-AIR Traffic is a broadcast automation system designed for front-room business office applications. It provides advanced multichannel scheduling and billing, which automatically handles invoicing and managing multiple channels, and automatic tracking of media files. Schedules, including changes for regional differences, can be created automatically months in advance of their use.

ON-AIR VDR, a highly advanced digital video disk recorder, supports multichannel capture and playback. ON-AIR VDR functions as a traditional production server enabling the production process to become file-based. ON-AIR VDR supports all manufacturers’ control protocols for easy integration with any existing broadcast automation environment.
