OmniBus Appoints New Sales Exec
OmniBus Systems has appointed Jay Schwartzberg as vice president of worldwide sales of iTX. The company said iTX is a new transmission system that builds on IT-based technology rather than standalone hardware for master control and automation operations. He will be responsible for the telephony, streaming media and IPTV markets.

Prior to joining OmniBus Systems, Schwartzberg was the director of business development, telecom and media vertical for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Inc., where he was responsible for worldwide sales and marketing.

"iTX represents a dramatically different approach to the transmission chain, from ingest to play-out, and has much to offer the emerging markets that will be my primary focus in this new position," said Schwartzberg. "I look forward to helping OmniBus build on the success of this groundbreaking new transmission solution."
