Omneon Hires Industry Vet In Effort to Expand
Omneon Video Networks appointed broadcast industry veteran Jason Danielson to senior director of solutions marketing. Danielson will manage an expanded developer program and oversee growth strategy.

Danielson comes to Omneon from SGI, which he joined in 1993 and most recently served as director of telco, Internet, media and entertainment markets. Prior to SGI, he began his professional broadcast career in 1978 with "Evening Magazine" working on first-generation, tape-based, linear video editing equipment. Following 10 years in video post production, Danielson moved into manufacturing and co-founded Digital F/X.
