New Manfrotto tripod helps shooters on the go

Manfrotto has launched the 745B, a tripod specifically geared toward the on-the-go videographer looking for a simple, straightforward solution.

With a maximum load capacity of 13.23 pounds (6kg), the new video tripod is designed to handle payloads commonly associated with MiniDV or DVCAM. An integrated 50mm leveling ball allows for quick setup with 15 degrees of leveling capability.

It is ideal for travel, quickly folding up to 24.8-inches and weighing 5.3 pounds.

For applications that demand full extension, the 745B has a maximum working height of 4.5 feet, and for any situation where the shot is low, the tripod can provide support as low as 8.6 inches with all three legs opened to a full 90 degrees.
