New HD products for transport, aggregation to highlight Stratos Lightwave IBC offerings

Stratos Lightwave’s Video Transport group will introduce a new suite of products at the IBC2003 convention. They are designed for the transport and aggregation of high-definition video signals and include:

  • Pluggable optical transceivers for video content, including optoelectronic modules specifically designed to facilitate uncompressed SD/HD digital video signals;

  • BNC-to-fiber media converters that convert a 75 ohm video signal to an optical signal over single-mode fiber;

  • Video mux/demux aggregation systems.
