NAB updates DigitalTVZone.com Web Site

NAB has announced the relaunch of its www.digitaltvzone.com Web site. The site, first developed in 2002, provides consumers with access to information about broadcasters’ transition to digital television.

Edward O. Fritts, president and CEO of NAB, said that more than 300,000 people have visited and revisited the Zone site over the past year. The NAB revamped and improved the site in conjunction with the 1000th free, over-the-air digital television station’s going on-air. The new site includes several enhanced features, such as tips for consumers who want to purchase a digital set and a visual representation meant to give users a sense of the difference between analog and digital television.
