MTV Europe chooses Xytech software

Xytech Systems, a provider of media business software for workflow management, scheduling and media asset management, has announced the sale of its software to MTV Post in Camden, London.

MTV Post is a facility owned by MTV Networks Europe that provides complete post-production services for MTV Networks Europe programs.

MTV Post will use the software for the management of its scheduling activities including all edit suites, staff, master control room and bookings. In a typical week, the facility schedules and produces up to 147 projects from digitizing to full online post.

Xytech’s workflow management system supports budgeting, bidding, order processing, scheduling, project management, purchasing, billing and accounting functions.
The company said its inventory control, media ordering and duplication management systems were useful in facilities that must manage, track, create, move and order videotape, audiotape or film-based media assets.

Clients for the software include film studios, broadcasting companies, post-production facilities, TV networks, rental houses, cable networks, media content providers and corporate media departments. There are more than 350 Xytech Systems software installations around the world.
