MRC Appoints Hollowell to Project Manager, BAS Relocation Effort
Microwave Radio Communications has appointed Rick Hollowell project manager of its 2 GHz BAS relocation effort.

Hollowell is responsible for working with systems engineering and operations on the Sprint/Nextel BAS program overseeing large systems orders. He is also managing activities of MRC's systems integration and technical support groups overseeing the test and integration of complex orders, and follow-up customer support.

Hollowell has more than 25 years of experience in the microwave communications industry. Most recently he was the antenna sales manager at Chelton Microwave Corp. in Bolton, Mass. Previous to that, he managed distribution and VAR sales channels as for North America for Radio Waves Inc. in Billerica, Mass. Hollowell also worked at MRC as director of systems engineering and customer service for 13 years.

"We are very happy to have Rick back at MRC," said Tony Finizio, president of MRC. "Rick brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the mix, not to mention his broad knowledge of MRC history and product line. I can't emphasize enough what the experienced industry veteran adds to the overall picture of management, forecasting industry trends, requirements, and technology."
