MOG Solutions shows new versions of MXF software

MOG Solutions has announced new versions of its software-based MXF tools, including theScribe, a full-featured editing package that enables the creation, playback and manipulation of MXF files. This includes the annotation of metadata, synchronized with the audio-visual material and fully compliant with DMS-1 (SMPTE S380M).

theScribe v2.0 features Sony’s XDCAM/e-VTR and Panasonic’s P2 support. It includes a new set of functions and wizards to create, cut, convert MXF files and export the results to an extensive range of devices and NLEs.

The new versions of the MOG Solutions MXF tools, including the MXF SDK (v3.0), and the MXFComponentSuite (v2.0), support HD: MPEG and DVCPRO, MPEG SPTS and AES302. It also features the ability to perform MXF partial restore and MXF conversion between MXF OP1a and OPAtom files.
