Modulus teams with Sencore on decoder technology

Modulus Video and Sencore have announced that Modulus is expanding its MPEG-4 AVC product family with the introduction of the MD3187A — a modular, multiformat receiver/decoder family based on Sencore’s MRD3187 system.

The MD3187A is interoperable with Modulus Video’s complete line of MPEG-4 AVC encoding products for HD and SD video.

The MD3187A is a compact 1RU modular receiver/decoder that can be tailored to specific applications and requirements. The user selects only the modules required for a specific task.

In addition to providing a variety of input and output options, the MD3187A also provides signal-monitoring capabilities that can be accessed remotely through a SNMP interface. The associated software allows monitoring, management and reconfiguring multiple systems through its intuitive graphical user interface.
