Miller releases three SOLO-DV Extreme tripods

The SOLO DV features a selectable counterbalance, 75mm ball leveling and quick release.

Miller's SOLO DV tripod enhances its 75mm production tripod range by combining silk-smooth fluid pan and tilt with an ultra light, rock solid spreaderless tripod. The SOLO DV features a selectable counterbalance, 75mm ball leveling and quick release.

The spreaderless SOLO DV carbon fiber tripod is designed for single operator crews. They set up to 65.5 inches high in seconds and pack down to a compact 2 feet for transport. Selectable leg angle locks ensure rapid stabilization, while the 75mm diecast alloy bowl offers quick leveling, optimum tortional rigidity and long-term durability.

The SOLO DV tripod is available in three models:

  • SOLO 5 handles 0 to 5 pound MiniDV palmcorders;

  • SOLO 10 handles 5 pound to 10 pound Mini and Mid-sized DV camcorders;

  • SOLO 20 with the well-known Miller DS20 fluid head handles 10 pound to 20 pound payloads.
