Microsoft TV IPG Earns Motorola Set-Top Validation
Motorola Broadband Communications has validated the new Microsoft TV Interactive Program Guide (IPG) for use on Motorola's DCT1000 and DCT1200 set-tops. The IPG is also ACADIA-validated for the Motorola DCT2000.

The Microsoft TV IPG can be used by a broadband network operator to deliver TV listings and advertising. It provides speedy scrolling and channel tuning for DTV users, making finding TV shows and customizing the viewing experience simpler.

The IPG was approved through Motorola's Horizon Developer Program, which helps independent software vendor partners develop and implement iTV systems, including IPGs, VOD, personal video recording, Internet access and other applications.
