Media sets Sept. 30 deadline for EEO report

The FCC Media Bureau last week set a midnight, Sept. 30 deadline for filing the Multi-Channel Video Programming Distributor EEO Program Annual Report.

Filers must use the commission’s electronic filing system available at the FCC Web site. Paper versions will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by a request for a waiver of the electronic filing requirement. However, the commission has warned it will not routinely grant such waivers, and anyone filing one must spell out the circumstances making it necessary.

As in previous years, selected Multi-Channel Video Programming Distributors will be required to fill out portions of the FCC’s Supplemental Investigation Sheet (SIS).
