Martin Appoints Director of Office of Legislative Affairs

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin has approved Kevin Washington as the commission's director of the Office of Legislative Affairs.

Washington comes to the agency with a background in the legislative and executive branches. He most recently was deputy director of the Department of Education's No Child Left Behind Office of Communications and Outreach and spent several years working for two congressional leadership offices in legislative policy and as a press spokesman.
