Luxemburg’s BCE, CAN turn to Front Porch Digital

Luxembourg’s Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE) and the country’s Centre National de l’Audiovisuel (CNA) will use Front Porch Digital’s DIVArchive and DIVAnet for advanced content replication, disaster recovery and business continuance functionality across the two facilities.

DIVAnet will provide content exchange for everyday operations across DIVArchive digital media management systems installed at each site. In addition to ongoing and automated duplication of assets stored in BCE’s main library, the system will provide BCE with full disaster recovery capability in the event of an equipment failure, natural disaster or other catastrophe. Based on configurable policies, DIVAnet will ensure that the two facilities share identical media libraries. It also provides the means for CAN to duplicate and take over the other facility’s program transmission should there be a failure of the primary playout system.
