Leitch to showcase integrated content environment

At NAB2004, Leitch Technology will demonstrate an integrated content environment —a streamlined workflow for the production, processing, transmission, management and storage of content.

Leitch will demonstrate enhanced newsroom workflow and productivity with NewsNet, an end-to-end newsroom solution based on the new NEXIO server platform. Of particular interest will be the seamless integration between high- and low-resolution file systems and Ingest Control Manager, which provides for scheduled recording of line feeds.

Key to NEXIO’s scalability is MediaNet, a fully integrated content management application that provides a unified view of server content whether on a local or remote server system.

Leitch will also exhibit new core modules in both HD and fiber optics and demonstrate the complete range of new processing and distribution options available in both the 6800+ and NEO modular processing product lines.

For transmission applications, Leitch will showcase its new NEXIO transmission server, NXMTS, which supports multiple compression formats in both SD and HD resolution. It supports an ASI interface and the ability to record, process and playback MPEG transport streams.

For more information, visit Leitch at booths R716, SU9868 or go to www.leitch.com.
