KTVK installs multichannel slot antenna from Jampro

KTVK-TV, an independent station in Phoenix, AZ, has installed a multichannel UHF TV Slot antenna from Jampro Antennas. The antenna will serve KTVK-TV’s channels 38, 48 and 42.

Jampro developed the required pattern for multiple channels on its full-scale test range, using a top-mounted slot antenna capable of documenting the azimuth performance. The company said the range testing was done to minimize the effects of the tower support structure, allowing the station to adequately cover its target markets and keep the azimuth performance of the side-mounted UHF system consistent.

The multichannel antenna installed for KTVK-TV is part of Jampro’s Prostar Series of UHF slot systems.
