KTV broadens offerings with two HD LSM-XT servers from EVS

Integrated Playlist editing supports up to 100 playlists and features intuitive cut & paste functionality. HD LSM-XT offers smooth analog sounding scrub audio during search mode and split audio editing across multiple audio tracks.

Keslow Television (KTV) in New York City has purchased two high-definition LSM-XT servers, adding to its EVS inventory, in response to growing demand for HD rental broadcast gear.

“The broadcasters have made good on their pledge to substantially increase the amount of original programming in high-definition; the greatest increase we’ve seen has been in the area of live sports coverage,” said KTV president Marc Keslow.

“The LSM has been such an important part of that coverage in the past, that it was only natural for an LSM product geared towards HD to have a strong impact. We expect the volume of HD origination to increase, and along with that the need for HD LSM’s as well.”
