JustEdit to exhibit new HD playout servers at IBC

JustEdit will showcase a new range of high definition video-servers — the models HD500 and HD800 — at IBC2005.

Available in configurations of one channel (vsnmatic) and 1-2 channels (vsnnews), the new HD servers support standard MPEG-2, MP&HL up to 80 Mb/s files, in 720p and 1080i resolutions. Both are compatible with most NLE HDV file formats.

vsnairnews HD500 is a live program video server integrated with the digital newsroom system vsnnews, which offers a solution for HDV managed production.

Using the same file formats, the vsnmatic HD800 is the master control room playout video server and automation software for 24-hour on-air broadcasts. The HD800 can control existing equipment (routers, VTRs, titling systems, etc).
