Irdeto Access to demo Video IP content protection

Irdeto Access will demonstrate the Irdeto PIright, its new content protection system for IP video at IBC2004.

Irdeto PIright is designed to provide the highest levels of protection possible against the theft of premium video content deployed over DSL and FTTH infrastructures. The system utilizes real-time encryption, pre-encryption, copy protection and rights management technologies in order to provide end-to-end security for premium video content. Content is securely distributed across any IP network, and transactions are enabled through secure payment features.

The company will also demonstrate the Irdeto PIright with solutions from the company’s partners, e.g., Minerva Networks’ IP television solution, Kasenna’s VOD platform and Amino’s AmiNET STBs for simultaneous deployment of video over DSL and FTTH.
