Image Communications introduces CompuSat satellite earth station controllers

Image Communications has added several new features to its CompuSat family of satellite earth station controllers.

CompuSat’s new digital tuner support lets users tune digital receivers as if they were analog models. Once a satellite and transponder are selected, CompuSat automatically sets data rate, symbol rate, FEC and service numbers.

CompuSat also now offers L-band router support that allows any system receiver to be connected to any antenna via an intuitive interface and a new Harris/Louth record list interface.

The system’s new automation interface allows satellite system control from an external program via TCP/IP.
