IDS SpotChart enhances Raycom/Jefferson-Pilot ACC broadcasts

Raycom/Jefferson-Pilot just completed a successful season of implementing the IDS SpotChart graphics into its ACC basketball telecasts. Earlier this year, IDS entered into an agreement to provide its new SpotChart graphics system for Raycom/Jefferson-Pilot’s 2004-2006 ACC broadcasts. Since that time, Raycom/Jefferson-Pilot’s broadcasts has included its ‘Shot-Tracker’ graphic.

The IDS SpotChart enables an operator to track the position from which shots are taken and create full-page shot chart graphics via an interface to the broadcaster’s existing graphics platform.

IDS provides technology solutions for sports with emphasis on the collection, storage, distribution and presentation of statistical content. IDS currently serves a broad range of clients, including the NBC Olympics, ESPN, NBA, NHL, PGA Tour, NASCAR, ATP Tour, IBM, Mercedes-Benz and Wimbledon.
