High End TV goes with Thales Angenieux 26X HD lenses

Located near Nashville, TN, High End TV is a production company that specializes in HD production and equipment rentals for music videos, electronic press kits (EPKs) and television commercials. They recently chose several new Thales Angenieux 26X HD ENG/EFP Telephoto Zoom lenses for use with Panasonic Varicam HD cameras as well as for its jib cameras.

The 26X HD ENG/EFP Telephoto Zoom Lens offers a focal range of 7.8mm to 203mm, (15.6mm to 406 mm with a 2x extender) and a fast aperture of f/2.2. The lens' high quality optics and light weight (4.1lbs) are ideal for today's high definition digital cameras. A rectangular sunshade minimizes light interference, and its sturdy construction is resistant to condensation, dust and rain, making it suitable for field production as well as studio applications.
