Harris provides real-time graphics for 36th Ryder Cup Tournament

For the 36th Ryder Cup Golf Tournament held in Dublin, Ireland, Sept. 22 to 24, graphics and timing technology provider MST Systems chose Harris’ Inscriber RTX HD real-time 2-D/3-D graphics platform.

MST, using its own software to control the system, used the RTX HD to provide up-to-date player statistics and score information live from the course. It provided graphics for both worldwide and domestic feeds on behalf of a number of broadcasters, including the BBC, Sky Sports and Ireland’s public service broadcaster, RTE.

The RTX HD platform enables users to create layouts consisting of such elements as 3-D animation, multiple layering, live and digital video and data from multiple sources, using common programming languages.
