Harris NetVX network speeds delivery of media between locations

Harris' NetVX networking platform, an integrated, high-speed network connectivity solution, removes the complexity and much of the cost from networking.

With NetVX, analog or digital video, audio, and/or data can be transported over any combination of networks simultaneously.

Capable of handling access with all packet-based (ATM, IP, satellite and microwave) services and receive satellite signals, NetVX provides an effective transport system for broadcasters to share resources among separate facilities.

With a modular architecture, NetVX supports any contribution or distribution application and offers a plug-and-play upgrade path for the future. A single 5 RU chassis can hold up to 17 software modules, providing the level of functionality that has required up to 14 hardwired components until now. A 1 RU starter system chassis that holds up to three modules also is available.

With NetVX, analog or digital video, audio, and/or data can be transported over any combination of networks simultaneously. For even greater functionality, including streamlined content insertion and repurposing applications, NetVX is available with MPEG-2 encoding and decoding and transport stream demultiplexing and remultiplexing modules.
