Hamlet presents new OSD video measuring set

The new Hamlet Adept is a DV ready entry-level multiformat capable, On Screen Display (OSD) video measuring set. The Adept provides SDI; DV (Firewire); analog component; YC (S-video); and composite 625 and 525 multi-standard measurement and monitoring capability, including line select, bow tie and gamut indication.



The Adept includes 360 vector phase adjustment, chrominance pass, low pass and flat filters, and PAL and NTSC or PAL-M and NTSC operation.

Adept has new proprietary processing and filtering. Operator display configuration recall is provided with a 10 mode store and recall facility. Instant access to all operating functions ensure a very short operator learning curve.

The Adept is a low power, compact replacement for CRT measuring units in all pre and post production areas. Powered by mains or 12vdc it may be used for transportable environments. Only 1U high and half rack width it can be rack mounted or used stand alone.

Primarily analog the unit can have DV (Firewire) and SDI options included to complete its flexibility. It features mulit-format inputs, HMag, H, 2H, 3H, V, 2V, VMag, full field line select, Bow Tie and Parade displays and external reference with hands free timing (HFT).

The Adept includes 360 vector phase adjustment, chrominance pass, low pass and flat filters, and PAL and NTSC or PAL-M and NTSC operation. Users can insert, mix over picture or black background. It has 10 operational set up store and recall, and power down memories and can trace display store and freeze functions.
