George Platt Stepping Down From ViewCast CEO Post
Plano, Texas-based ViewCast Corp. has announced that its current chairman and CEO, George C. Platt, will be retiring from that position on July 31. He will continue to serve as chairman of the company’s board of directors.

David T. Stoner, currently the company’s president and chief operating officer will succeed him. Stoner has also been appointed to the ViewCast board of directors.
