Gefen enhances HDMI switcher

The new Gefen switcher enables users to add DVI sources, and control from an RS-232 interface or IR remote.

Gefen has updated its 4x1 HDMI switcher.

The switcher enables up to four HD sources to be accessed from the same HD display, allowing users to add DVI sources such as computers (with an optional HDMI to DVI Adapter), and control from an RS-232 interface or IR remote.

HDMI-compliant, high-definition video up to 1080p resolution is supported and the unit passes through HDCP compliant signals from the sources through the switcher to the display.
