FOXTEL selects Evolution Broadcast Nexus Director for control room

FOXTEL has selected Evolution Broadcast's Nexus Director for its FOX Footy Channel studios in Melbourne, Australia.

Nexus Director lets directors switch complex productions with two touch screens. Directors can control advanced automation features to simplify transitions and effects via a custom control panel and a graphical user interface.

The automation system also controls other devices, such as video servers, graphics devices and audio equipment.

Evolution will provide FOXTEL with the Nexus Director unit and several specially developed screens for the executive producer and director’s assistant. The company will also interface its equipment to the FOX Footy Channel’s Quantel server.

See Evolution Broadcast at IBC2004 in stand 11.529.
